Spin: The Science of Rotation
June 11 – September 28, 2008
In the Riedman Gallery
Get that merry-go-round feeling of dizzy fun in the traveling exhibit
Spin: The Science of Rotation!
Give the "Human Centrifuge" a whirl, create a mini laser show, race spinning balls along a track, and have fun experimenting as you investigate the science of objects that rotate.
Spin
was developed by The Health Adventure in Asheville, NC and Catawba Science Center in Hickory, NC as part of the Traveling Exhibitions At Museums of Science (TEAMS) Collaborative — seven museums (including the Rochester Museum & Science Center) that develop colorful, interactive science exhibitions with support from the National Science Foundation.
