The Rochester Museum & Science Center has adapted our Girl Scout badge programs in accordance with the Girl Scout of America Journey badge requirements. All programs are led by professional educators who do more than just meet the requirements for your badges. Science is brought to life by using the museum's exhibition halls and collections to provide an enriching and fun program for your scout group.
Each program is one-day. Select the schedule that works best for your group.
Cost of Cadette programs at Rochester Museum & Science Center and Cumming Nature Center: $14 per scout, $4 per adult
Non-refundable 90% deposit, or payment in full, is required for a group of six or more scouts. Payment in full is required for a group of fewer than six scouts.
Scouts must be chaperoned by an adult.
All Cadette programs include experiments, related activities, and all requirements for a badge. Program cost DOES NOT include a badge. Badges can be purchased through the Girl Scout Office.
The program will have a 30 minute lunch break. Cadettes should bring a brown bag meal with them.
All programs are open to multiple troops and require a minimum number of scouts to run. Registration is closed two weeks prior to the program date. If this minimum is not met, the program will be cancelled. All cancelled programs will be refunded.
All scouting programs at RMSC have a maximum enrollment. Your reservation guarantees placement for your scouts to the exclusion of other scout groups. Due to this policy, you are responsible for the payment of 90% of your reservation at time of registration regardless of how many scouts attend the program. Please take this into account when making your reservations.
