Friday Programs Especially for Summer Groups
12pm–4pm each Friday beginning July 9
Take advantage of programs on special themes each Friday from 12pm to 4pm, reserved exclusively for summer groups and facilitated by trained RMSC staff. Activity Fee: $1 per person. Pre-registration is required. Call 585-697-1942 to register.
July 9: Full Moons and Fangs
Make your own edible movie magic blood.
July 16: Robo-Science
Build robotic arms and use them in challenges.
July 23: Mind Mazes
Try brainteasers and mind-challenging activities.
July 30: Creepy Crawlies
Meet the MRSC's live insects! Explore their behavior and habitats.
August 6: Rocks Rock
Investigate crystals and minerals as you perform tests on both.
August 13: I Want to be an Astronaut
Build and launch water rockets using 2-liter bottles.
August 20: Fizz Bang Science
Make slime and watch the infamous "Diet Coke and Mentos" demonstration.
August 27: Down on the Farm
Test local soils and water as you learn about the agriculture industry.

SUMMER HIGHLIGHTS:
Relax and experience a giant-screen film or star show. Schedule a visit to the planetarium only, or combine a show with a day at the museum. Pre-registration is required. Please call 585-697-1942.

Tips for Your Visit to the Planetarium:
Please be prompt!
Plan to arrive in the planetarium lobby 15 minutes before show time and give an accurate count of the number in your group to the Box Office. Latecomers cannot be seated, out of consideration for the rest of the audience.
For Free Community Partner Pass users:
There is no restriction on the number of participants who may attend morning shows.
No more than 50 participants may attend each afternoon or evening show.

Lunch:
Your group may bring lunch to enjoy outside picnic-style, on the ground (no tables available). In case of rain, we suggest that groups eat on the bus or back at their camp headquarters.
Please note:
The outdoor tent and tables are reserved for RMSC campers and will not be available for visiting groups.
Indoor areas, including the museum restaurant and patio, are reserved for families and individual visitors.
