Giant-Screen Films Star and Laser Shows Dazzle Audiences and Spark Interest in Science and Technology. Giant-screen films bring audiences on scientific adventures to space, through the dessert, underwater or among volcanoes. HAUDENOSAUNEE DAY

Celebrate Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) culture, past and present, with artisans from the community.
HAUDENOSAUNEE DAY Saturday, November 10: 12–4pm Celebrate Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) culture, past and present, with artisans from the community. Learn about jewelry making, beading, and basket making from local Haudenosaunee artists as they bring the traditions of their culture to life through their art. Hear storytellers, and join RMSC Docent educators, for tours of the Museum's world-renowned collection. Spend time with collections staff and volunteers to view artifacts rarely on display for the public, including art from the Works Progress Administration (WPA) Indian Arts Project. Learn first-hand about the tradition of making corn-husk dolls with hands-on art activities. Immerse yourself in the vibrant art and culture of today's Haudenosaunee.
Visitors can also take a free class from a local Seneca artist to learn how to make cornhusk dolls. Classes will be available for multiple age groups, and families are encouraged to take a class together Please pre-register to reserve your spot. Registration will be available on-site, however space is limited and classes may fill. To register please call (585) 697-1942 • Course F1017: 10:30-11:00am for families with children 5-10 years old • Course F1018: 11:30am-12:15pm for adults ages 16 and up • Course F1019: 1:00-1:45pm for families with children 11-15 years old (adult supervision NOT required) •Course F1020: 2:30-3:15pm for families with children 5-10 years old
