Giant-Screen Films Star and Laser Shows Dazzle Audiences and Spark Interest in Science and Technology.
Giant-screen films bring audiences on scientific adventures to space, through the dessert, underwater or among volcanoes. Audiences become inspired by cutting-edge science presented in star shows and mesmerized by dazzling laser lights accompanied by rock music during "Saturday Night Laser."

The exhibit explores the everyday experience of race, the contemporary science
that is challenging common ideas about race, and the history of this idea in
the United States. While differences are socially and culturally real,
contemporary scientific understanding of race and human variation is complex
and may challenge how visitors think about it. In other words, we are not all

What are the possibilities for life elsewhere? If we
encounter alien life, how will we respond? How might they respond? Take part in hands-on activities including:
• Playing "Alien Jeopardy."
• Viewing video interviews with community leaders on how they would
respond to extraterrestrial contact.
• Making a postcard of themselves on another world where life might be
possible.
• Creating a craft on the theme of extraterrestrial life.
