ROCHESTER, NY— The Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC) Strasenburgh Planetarium "Holiday Laser" show, a seasonal tradition with Rochester families and their out-of-town visitors, opens at 3pm on Sunday, November 17. Shows are scheduled on weekends and during school holidays through Sunday, January 5, 2013.
"Holiday Laser" is 100 percent music, presenting favorite holiday songs back-to-back without a break, choreographed with dancing laser light against the starry background of the planetarium sky. The playlist includes Vivaldi's "Winter," favorites by Mannheim Steamroller and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and other festive selections in pop and classical styles. The show lasts about 50 minutes and is recommended for all ages. Shows appear on weekends and selected dates during the week.
