Robotics and Animals Featured During Science Saturdays at Rochester Museum & Science Center this December
ROCHESTER, NY—Visitors explore robotics with FIRST Robotics Teams and meet fascinating animals from the Wegmans ZooMobile during "Science Saturdays" this December at the Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC). Details on December programs are included below:
Saturday, December 7: 11am-3pm
Visitors learn from local area high school FIRST robotics students as they talk about the robots that they built, how math and science helped them complete it, and how their FIRST experience has helped them excel. Visitors will see robots first-hand!

Saturday, December 14: 12-2pm
Visitors meet and learn about some of the animals from the Seneca Park Zoo as the Wegmans ZooMobile visits RMSC.

"Science Saturdays" programs allow community members to dig their hands into science, meet local experts and discover science phenomena in a relaxed, conversational setting. "Science Saturdays" take place on selected Saturdays, and occasionally Sundays, throughout the year and are sponsored by Time Warner Cable. "Science Saturdays" cover a wide range of science and technology fields and are designed for family members to experience together.
Programs are, unless otherwise specified, free with regular Museum admission: $13 adults, $12 seniors and college students with ID, $11 ages 3 to 18, free for children under 3 and RMSC members. Admission to the Alien Worlds and Androids exhibition is also free with regular Museum admission. For group reservations and rates, call 585.697.1942.
