Visitors Celebrate Halloween with Experiments, Costume Parades and Other Activities at the Rochester Museum & Science Center
ROCHESTER, NY—Visitors are invited to have a spook-tacular time celebrating Halloween at the Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC) with a host of hair-raising activities. Activities take place from 12-4pm on Saturday and Sunday, October 26-27 and from 10am-2pm on Thursday, October 31.

Spooky Science Weekend
Saturday and Sunday, October 26-27: 12-4pm
Blazing jack-o-lanterns, face painting, and pumpkin chucking are all part of a special pre-Halloween weekend at the RMSC. Become messy with glowing slime and other fun hands-on experiments. Get up close with some of the RMSC's creepy crawly animal friends like tarantulas and snakes. Get wowed by 11-foot lightning bolts in our Electricity Theater and launch pumpkins with a trebuchet in the Museum's backyard (weather permitting). Costumes encouraged! Face painting takes place from 1–3pm on Saturday and Sunday. Electricity Theater show times are Saturdays and Sundays: 12pm, 2pm and 4pm (Tuesday and Thursdays at 4pm).

Halloween day is a special day for the little ones! Come to the RMSC and enjoy trick-or-treating throughout the exhibit galleries. Explore craft stations, special live science performances and take part in a costume parade around the Museum!
Programs are, unless otherwise specified, free with regular Museum admission: $13 adults, $12 seniors and college students with ID, $11 ages 3 to 18, free for children under 3 and RMSC members. During these special programs, children in costume visit free with a paid adult admission. Admission to the Alien Worlds and Androids exhibition is also free with regular Museum admission.
