Pamela L. Jackson to Lead Development and Marketing at Rochester Museum & Science Center
ROCHESTER, NY—The Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC) promoted Pamela L. Jackson to Vice President of Development and Marketing. Jackson brings more than twenty years of development and fundraising expertise as well as an extensive marketing background to her new position.
In this new role, Jackson manages all fundraising activities, solicits corporate support for exhibitions, writes grant applications and assists with RMSC board leadership. In addition, Jackson oversees all development and marketing department activities and is responsible for membership. Previously, Jackson held the Senior Director of Development position at RMSC. Prior to that role, Jackson was Vice President of Client Services at a local advertising agency, Director of Development at the Rochester Hearing and Speech Center and Director of Marketing and Development at Crestwood Children's Center.
Jackson holds a Bachelor's degree in English and Secondary Education from the State University of New York, College at Brockport. Jackson lives in Victor, New York with her family.
For more than a century, the RMSC has stimulated interest in exploration and sparked curiosity in the Rochester community's youth. Today, the RMSC is a powerful source for informal learning of the latest in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
