Museum & Science Center
ROCHESTER,
NY—"Science Saturdays" programs in March at the Rochester Museum & Science
Center (RMSC) offer visitors fun, hands-on experiences in various
fields. Attendees explore the strength of structures, the science of the mind, unique
animal prints and the care that goes into owing a greyhound.

The
Science of Building
11am-4pm: Saturday, March 2
Presented
by the American Society of Civil Engineers
Visitors enjoy a hands-on experience learning about the science of
building. They will mix their own batch of concrete, or try their hand at
designing a bridge. In addition, visitors will meet local civil engineers, see
local projects, and find out what civil engineering is all about.

and what they did. Visitors will join the Animal Teachers and Anne Meade to
learn about tracks and the animals who made them.

"Science Saturdays" programs allow community members to dig
their hands into science, meet local experts and discover science phenomena in
a relaxed, conversational setting. "Science Saturdays" take place on selected
Saturdays throughout the year and are sponsored by Time Warner Cable. "Science
Saturdays" cover a wide range of science and technology fields and are designed
for family members to experience together.
Programs are, unless otherwise specified,
free with regular Museum admission: $13 adults, $12 seniors and college
students with ID, $11 ages 3 to 18, free for children under 3 and RMSC members.
