February Laser Shows at
RMSC Strasenburgh Planetarium Feature Dave Matthews Band and Pink Floyd
ROCHESTER,
NY—Experience hits from two popular musical groups accompanied by brilliant
laser lights at the Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC) Strasenburgh
Planetarium each Saturday night in February. Dave Matthews Laser appears at 9:30pm, followed by Pink Floyd Laser at 10:30pm. Each show, created
by RMSC staff, lasts
approximately 50 minutes.
Dave
Matthews Laser features favorites
including "Ants Marching," "#41," "Everyday," "Crush," Satellite," and "Tripping
Billies," among others.
Then, the six-channel digital sound
system switches to Pink Floyd Laser,
which features a host of classics, including "Money," "Learning to Fly," "Another
Brick in the Wall," and others. Audience members feel the power of surround
sound on selected tracks.
"Saturday Night Laser" shows turn music into a multi-sensory
experience as glimmering argon and krypton laser light effects dance across the
Planetarium's accurate night sky. Shows run all year and themes change monthly.
Admission for ONE show is $7 for adults and $6 for seniors, college
students, students ages 5–18, and RMSC members. Admission for TWO shows, back-to-back is $11 for adults and $9 for seniors,
college students, students ages 5–18, and RMSC members. Children under age five are not admitted to "Saturday Night Laser"
shows.
