Culture and Community Sundays Program Features RIT Poets at the Rochester Museum & Science
Center
ROCHESTER,
NY—Visitors to the Rochester Museum & Science Center
(RMSC) hear verses from talented Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) students
during the next Culture and Community
Sundays program called "Mental Graffiti." During this new family-oriented
program, visitors celebrate diversity. The event takes place from 1–2pm on
February 17 in Mario's Café on RMSC's lower level.
Words
become art as this student-lead RIT organization of talented poets share their
dynamic, creative and intriguing pieces.
Taking
place on selected dates throughout the spring, Culture and Community Sundays features
cultural celebrations expressed through voice, dance and the spoken word. Upcoming

This new program complements the RMSC's
new traveling exhibition RACE: Are We So
Different? which explores the history, science and lived experience
of race. The exhibition is open now through April 28.
Programs
are free with regular Museum admission: $13 adults, $12 seniors and college
