"Saturday Night Laser" Features 90s
Music at the Rochester Museum & Science Center Strasenburgh Planetarium
ROCHESTER,
NY—This December, audiences lose themselves in grunge rock music and
spectacular laser light during 90s Laser
at the Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC) Strasenburgh Planetarium.
The show appears at 9:30pm each Saturday night in December and lasts approximately
50 minutes.
90s
Laser features a wide
range of tunes like "Elderly Woman Behind the Counter In a Small Town," Pearl
Jam; "Machinehead," Bush; "Wonderwall," Oasis; "Never There," Cake; "Mysterious
Ways," U2; "Smells Like Teen Spirit," Nirvana; "Zombie," The Cranberries, among
others.
"Saturday Night Laser" shows turn music
into a multi-sensory experience as glimmering argon and krypton laser light
effects zap and bounce across the Planetarium's realistic night sky. Shows run
all year and themes change monthly.
Admission is $7 for
adults and $6 for seniors, college students, students ages 5–18 and RMSC members.
Children under age five are not admitted to Saturday Night Laser
shows.
Tickets
may be purchased in advance at the Museum Welcome Center (museum lobby) during
regular business hours, at the Planetarium Box Office or online at www.rmsc.org. Online ticket purchases must be
made at least 24 hours prior to the show. Box Office hours vary according to
