Explore Animal
Habitats During Science Saturdays at the Rochester Museum & Science Center
ROCHESTER,
NY—Visitors to the Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC) discover
animals' unique, natural environment during the Have to Have a Habitat program. Part of "Science Saturdays," the event takes place at 11am and 12:30pm on Saturday,
December 8.
Attendees
have fun learning from the experts from the Seneca Park Zoo Society as
the Wegmans ZooMobile visits the RMSC. All animals need to have the same basic
requirements to live. Visitors discover how a few of the ZooMobile animals
survive in their varied natural homes, and why every animal has to have a
habitat.
"Science Saturdays" programs allow
community members to dig their hands into science, meet local experts and
discover science phenomena in a relaxed, conversational setting. "Science
Saturdays" take place on selected Saturdays throughout the year and are
sponsored by Time Warner Cable. "Science Saturdays" cover a wide range of
science and technology fields and are designed for family members to experience
together.
Programs are, unless otherwise specified,
free with regular Museum admission: $13 adults, $12 seniors and college
students with ID, $11 ages 3 to 18, free for children under 3 and RMSC members.
