Visitors Experience U2 Laser at the Rochester Museum & Science Center Strasenburgh Planetarium
Saturday Nights
ROCHESTER,
NY—This November, community members might hear their friends say, "I'm going
'With or Without You,'" when it comes to attending the next laser light show.
Visitors experience U2 Laser at the
Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC) Strasenburgh Planetarium at 9:30pm
each Saturday night in November. The show lasts approximately 50 minutes.
The show features classic U2 songs,
including "Where the Streets Have No Name," "One,"
"Beautiful Day" and "Mysterious
Ways." Audiences become absorbed in an exciting virtual environment and watch colorful
laser light movements flow and pulse in patterns that brilliantly match the
music.
Saturday Night Laser shows turn music
into a multi-sensory experience as glimmering argon and krypton laser light
effects zap and bounce across the Planetarium's realistic night sky. Shows run
all year and themes change monthly.
Admission is $7 for
adults and $6 for seniors, college students, students ages 5–18 and RMSC
members. Children under age five are not admitted to
Saturday Night Laser shows.
Tickets
may be purchased in advance at the Museum Welcome Center (museum lobby) during
regular business hours, at the Planetarium Box Office or online at www.rmsc.org. Online ticket purchases must be
made at least 24 hours prior to the show. Box Office hours vary according to
the show schedule. Check online or by calling (585)271-1880.
