Selected Saturdays in September
ROCHESTER,
NY—The Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC) Strasenburgh Planetarium
will be filled with the lyrical rock music of Dave Matthew Band accompanied by
brilliant laser lights Saturdays, September 1, 8, 15 and 22. Dave Matthews Laser shows appear at
9:30pm and last nearly one hour.
Dave
Matthews Laser, created by RMSC staff, features favorites including "Ants
Marching," "#41," "Everyday," "Crush," Satellite," and "Tripping Billies,"
among others.
An exciting virtual environment, visitors
watch colorful light dance among the stars on
the inner surface of the huge Planetarium dome. Laser beams pulse along with the rock tunes, creating an intricate pattern.
"Saturday Night Laser" show themes change monthly. Admission is $7 for
adults and $6 for seniors, college students, students ages 5–18 and RMSC
members. Children under age five are not admitted to
"Saturday Night Laser" shows.
Tickets
for laser shows may be purchased in advance at the Museum Welcome Center
(museum lobby) during regular business hours, at the Strasenburgh Planetarium
Box Office or online at www.rmsc.org. Online
