Enjoy live electronics and vocal talent. Sit back and relax in the
reclined seats of the Strasenburgh Planetarium and submerse yourself in this
unique performance .Lost in the Funhouse: Revolution is a
one-hour presentation of one revolution of the earth around the sun. Using live
computer music, field recordings, spoken text and projected planetariums tar
maps and videos, Revolution will depict both the science (physics) and
psychology (emotions) of the passage of seasons, solar/lunar cycles, celestial
mechanics and harmony of the spheres. For ages 5 and older.
"ART WALK EXTENSION PROJECT" COMPLETE
A streetscape beautification
project administered by the City of Rochester and directed by Bergmann
Associates, Art Walk will represent tomorrow's RMSC. Be sure to check out our
new indoor/outdoor sculpture interactive.

KEVA Planks—Come build with us!

Patricia F. Hale Hands-on Gallery
Construct wooden masterpieces of all shapes and
sizes with KEVA Planks, a building
exhibit experience. KEVA Planks is
part of the RMSC centennial celebration. Precision cut, identical construction
blocks, KEVA Planks are
hard maple and
stack with
surprising stability. No glue or connectors are involved. Using only gravity, visitors dabble with physics in order to achieve balance,
optimum proportion and strength. Create anything from simple stacks, to
castles, bridges and trains, to full scenes such as landscapes, farms or
arenas. Weekly community build
challenges will take place throughout July and August. Build the
sturdiest platform, the safest bridge span or the best furniture set. New challenges
take place each week. Discover the topic via the

Flight to Freedom: Rochester's

the Underground Railroad Heritage Trail, a program of the New York State Office
of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation
Explore
stories of courageous African Americans who traveled through Rochester on their
way from slavery to freedom. Find out about local people who helped them.
At the Western Door
The
hundreds of objects displayed show the Seneca's and Haudenosaunee's creative
response to new technologies and materials introduced following European contact.
Clan and family continue to bind communities together and define who the Seneca
and Haudenosaunee are.
The Rochester Business Hall of Fame – Presented by the
RMSC in partnership with Junior Achievement of Rochester and the Rochester

This interactive exhibit celebrates exemplary Rochester leaders who
