Get "Comfortably Numb"
at RMSC Strasenburgh Planetarium this June with
Pink Floyd Laser
ROCHESTER,
NY—The fantastic stargazing music of Pink Floyd floods the Rochester Museum
& Science Center (RMSC) Strasenburgh Planetarium this June. Pink Floyd Laser is featured each
Saturday night. Shows begin at 9:30pm and last approximately 50 minutes.
Pink
Floyd Laser includes a number
of classic songs, including "Money," "Learning to Fly,"
"Speak To Me/Breathe," "Welcome to the Machine" and "Another Brick in the Wall," among others. The music becomes
a multi-sensory experience, as it's combined with brilliant argon and krypton
laser light effects that shimmer and dance across the Planetarium's starry sky.
Special immersive video effects are included. Audiences lose themselves in an
exciting virtual environment, following these colorful light movements that
synchronize with the music.
"Saturday Night Laser" shows run all year
at the RMSC and change monthly. See the full list of songs on the RMSC
website.
Admission is $7 for
adults and $6 for seniors, college students, students ages 5–18 and RMSC
members. Children under age five are not admitted to
"Saturday Night Laser" shows.
Tickets
for laser shows may be purchased in advance at the Museum Welcome Center
