ROCHESTER,
NY—Experience the music of two popular groups accompanied by brilliant laser
lights at the Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC) Strasenburgh
Planetarium each Saturday night in January. The
Beatles in Laser Light appears at 9:30pm, followed by Pink Floyd Laser at 10:30pm. Each show lasts approximately 50
minutes.
Visitors enjoy a multi-sensory experience
as brilliant argon and krypton laser light effects dance across the Planetarium
dome.
The
Beatles in Laser Light
features hits such as "A Hard Day's Night," "Day Tripper," "Eleanor Rigby" and "Sgt.
Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," along with special immersive video effects.
Visitors also see interviews with "The Fab Four."
Then, the six-channel digital sound
system switches to Pink Floyd Laser,
which features a host of classics, including "Money," "Learning to Fly," "Another
Brick in the Wall," and others. Audience members feel the power of surround
sound on selected tracks.
Admission for ONE show is $10 for adults and $9 for seniors,
college students, students ages 5–18, and RMSC members. Admission for BOTH shows,
back-to-back is $15 for adults
and $13 for seniors, college students, students ages 5–18, and RMSC members. Children under age five are not admitted to "Saturday Night Laser"
shows.
Tickets
for laser shows may be purchased in advance at the Museum Welcome Center
(museum lobby) during regular business hours, at the Planetarium Box Office or
online at www.rmsc.org. Online ticket
purchases must be made at least 24 hours prior to the show. Box Office hours
